Kento Hong
Kento Hong is a Columbia–Juilliard student studying Applied Mathematics–Statistics with a minor in Computer Science while pursuing violin performance at The Juilliard School. He conducts biomedical engineering research at Columbia Engineering’s Cellular Engineering Lab, focusing on tissue modeling and quantitative approaches to musculoskeletal sports injuries. As a technical writer for Columbia Science Review, he is passionate about translating complex scientific ideas into clear, engaging stories that connect research, creativity, and real-world impact.
