Rokhyatou Toure

Rokhyatou Toure is a sophomore in Columbia College studying neuroscience and behavior. She is especially drawn to neuroepigenetics and the ways experience can shape gene expression in the brain. Her writing aims to balance scientific precision with a creative, narrative style that makes complex ideas feel alive and accessible. When she’s not writing about gene expression and signaling pathways, she’s likely logging miles on a run or testing a new baking idea in the kitchen.
