Arooba ahmed

is a junior in Columbia College studying Biochemistry on the Pre-Med track. She is a member of the Gautier lab at CUMC studying the role of translesion DNA polymerases in DNA damage repair. She is also Vice President of the Organization of Pakistani students and is a writer for Consilience, the Journal of Sustainable Development. In her free time, she loves her cooking her favorite South Asian dishes, baking cakes with friends, and playing Just Dance!
