KIMIA HEYDARI
Kimia has a slight obsession with antique city maps and outdated anatomy depictions. She is one of the undergraduate peer fellows at Columbia’s writing center, where some refer to as the emergency room for ideas. She’s a mentor for the New York Academy of Sciences and is part of a glaucoma research group. She hopes to become a doctor and contribute to improving the relationship between medical technologies and clinical diagnoses.
You can find some of her writing about the dance between science and society on Columbia’s political review, the Morningside Review and the Contemporary group.
